So this is a big deal to me! Joe Cimperman is going to be my council person and is the council person for Ward 3 which includes Downtown, Tremont, and Ohio City. What a resume!
I one day hope to be a city councilman and hope to do even a fraction of the good that Joe has done. So thanks for the follow Mr Cimperman!

 | In other news, the infamous Truman building tree is gone. The Truman building, located on Euclid Avenue between E. 9th and 12th streets, received state tax credit in 2012 for a rehab which includes store fronts, office space, and apartments. The tree was kind of a mascot for the neglect of old downtown buildings... but no more! Maybe they can have a tree as part of a roof top patio/garden. Anyways with downtown occupancy hovering around 97%, the more residential the better. Get those people off the waiting lists and into downtown. |
